Is the internet available and is it included in the rent?
We do have wireless internet available which can be connected immediately but it is not included in the rent. Downloads start at $27 for 5GB ($44 for 10GB). You can connect a telephone line to your room and then choose an internet provider for dial-up or broadband connection.
Do you pay more for electricity and water
The rent covers all charges for electricity, gas and water and also includes a weekly bed linen change.
How far from the city and how long to travel?
We are located approximately 5 kms from the city centre. Most students travel daily by bus. It is a two minute walk to the bus stop, a 15 minute bus ride and the bus stops at the uni gates. Some students purchase bicycles and cycle daily to uni.
Do I need to buy anything for my room?
All rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned (heating and cooling). We provide cutlery and crockery but you will need to purchase your own cooking utensils. Most students purchase a fry pan, sauce pan and microwave dish.
